Situated at an altitude of 1000 feet above sea level, Sheldon commands extensive views of the surrounding countryside.
 
Welcome to the Church of Saint Michael and All Angels. The Church was built in 1865, to the north of the main village street. Sunday Services are held at 9.00am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month and are Holy Communion. Details of the Churchyard Monuments and their Inscriptions were researched by the previous vicar, the Reverend Clive Thrower.
